I loved the spirit of the durgapuja. From children to elders everyone participated and enjoyed the puja to the fullest.The entire team of hoichoi welcomes every one with warmth and festive spirit.We all enjoyed those 5 days as our 'barir pujo ' with adda ,cultural programs and lots of yummy food.And the menu was great as usual .Paturi and chittol muitha deserves special mention here.Will look forward for the next year .Hok hoichoi!

Best Bengali community of Netherlands...had so much fun in Poila Boisakh Event...each and everything was so very organized and best part I would like to mention is, food...it was so sooo very tasty...Food partner was Bhuri Bhoj and they really nailed it...sitting in Netherlands ,felt like we are having authentic Bengali cuisine from Kolkata...amazing ! looking forward to the next events and of course the super Bengali Khana by one and only Bhuri Bhoj...

Attended the poila boisakh event for the 1st time with my colleagues. It was a very nice experience with lots of fun and adda. Main attraction for a bengali is always the food. The food was very good and delicious. Loved the mutton and chicken curry a lot. Looking forward for this kind of event in the near future also.

This year was my first Puja in Netherlands. I been to Hoichoi puja on Maha Ashtami evening and I’m amazed to see how you all organizing this event. The ambiance was truly like a Sarbojanin puja. সবাইকে কাঁদিয়ে মা আবার বাপের বাড়ি. কিন্তু উৎসবপ্রিয় বাঙালি মনে বেজে উঠেছে দুঃখের মাঝে নব আশার সুর - "আসছে বছর আবার হবে". আনন্দের দিনগুলো যত দেরিতে আসে, তত দ্রুত চলে যায়. কিন্তু রেশ টা থাকে বহুক্ষণ - এটাই বাস্তব.
বিগত চার বছরের প্রথম দুই বছর ডেনমার্ক এর ছোট্ট গ্রাম আরহুস এ বসে দুর্গাপুজোর উদযাপন ম্লান লাগলেও পরবর্তী বছর কলকাতায় জোর করে থেকে বিয়ের পর প্রথম পূজা উদযাপন ছিল বেশ মনোরম. কিন্তু দশমীর বিদায়ী সুর বাজার আগেই আমস্টারডাম এ চলে আসা. সময় এর স্রোতে ভাসতে ভাসতে মনে হচ্ছিলো বারবার - এবছর কেমন কাটবে পুজোটা!!
কিন্তু মনের ভেতর উড়তে থাকা প্রশ্নের ঘুড়িটাকে একটানে ভোকাট্টা করে দিলো "হৈচৈ প্রবাসী বাঙালী পূজা - ২০১৮". একটি দলগত প্রচেষ্টার সার্থক রূপায়ণ.
আমি র নিবেদিতা খুব উপভোগ করলাম আর পরের বছর ইউরোপের যেখানেই থাকি না কেন অবশ্যই চেষ্টা করবো আবার যোগদানের.
বিজয়ার শ্রদ্ধা, প্রণাম বড়োদের, আর অনেক ভালোবাসা ও অভিনন্দন বাকি সবাইকে. সবাই ভালো থেকো.

"HoiChoi" – A renowned platform in The Netherlands for Bengali community which feels us being there in the homeland "Bangla". Nevertheless to say that we enjoyed a lot in this community and appreciated the effort for all the members of the committee. One more time "Three cheers for HoiChoi".
One of the few lessons learnt this time, which I felt to share with you like –
In the amazing event of Amit Sana's event (or maybe Omkar), this time in Amit Sana's program "Jonota" in the mid and last row were unable to be with Amit Sana. Also he was unable to reach them. Next time probably, in such event, we may think of making a passage in between, so that the singer can reach the people sitting behind, which may make the program more enjoyable.

প্রকৃত শিল্পীর অহঙ্কার থাকে না, থাকে শুধু ভালোবাসা। সেই ভালোবাসা প্রকাশ পায় তাঁর গানের সুরে, তাঁর তুলির আঁচড়ে, তাঁর কবিতার পংক্তিতে। যে গাছে ফল ধরে, সে গাছ ফলের ভারে ঝুঁকে পরে। শিল্পী সেই ফল-ধরা গাছের মতো - নম্র, শান্ত, স্থির - শুধু তাঁর শিল্প এক চিরস্থায়ী দাগ ছেড়ে যায় শ্রোতা বা দর্শকের মনে।
Holland-e hoi-choi-কে অনেক ধন্যবাদ দূর্গোৎসব উপলক্ষে এইরকম কিছু শিল্পীর সাথে কাজ করার সুযোগ করে দেওয়ার জন্যে, সংখ্যাগরিষ্ঠ ঔদ্ধত্যের মাঝে এই মরূদ্যান খুঁজে দেওয়ার জন্যে। আশা রাখি সেই শিল্পীদের সাথে আরো অনেক কাজ করার সুযোগ পাবো।
